New Caney ISD Keefer Crossing Middle School Renovations

Keefer Crossing Middle School in New Caney, Texas, embarked on an enriching journey of transformation in August 2015. The heart of many school activities, the existing cafeteria, underwent a significant renovation to ensure a more congenial environment for students to dine and interact. Beyond mere aesthetic upgrades, the space was reimagined to foster a sense of community and collaboration. A notable enhancement to the facility was the addition of a stage area. This new space offers a platform for students to showcase their talents, from theatrical performances to morning announcements, becoming a versatile hub for various school events. The renovated 5,000 square-foot area now beautifully intertwines functionality with design, thanks to the expert planning and execution by Bay-IBI Group Architects. This project reaffirms New Caney Independent School District’s commitment to creating spaces that cater to both the academic and extracurricular needs of its students.
