Bailey Elementary School

The new Bailey elementary school for Pasadena Independent School District is a new 750 student facility that is located on the same site as the existing Bailey Elementary school which will remain fully operational during the duration of construction. The new school will include a variety of spaces for teaching and learning including six classroom pods with dedicated collaboration spaces. the facility consists of a one-story administration area adjacent to a two-story volume containing the main lobby / corridor and the library. There are three two story classroom wings support regularly occupied Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and grades one through four. The facility also includes a gymnasium, a cafeteria with kitchen, specialty classrooms (music and science) and a central plant to serve the building. Additional amenities include multiple aluminum walkway canopies, multiple concrete parking areas, hardscape and landscaped play areas and utilities as required.
